Link in Bio for a Subreddit: One Page for Everything Around Your Reddit Community
17 August 2026 · 5 min read
A subreddit already has a public web page. Reddit also gives moderators a Community Guide, rules, and places for useful links. joinour.group does not replace those. It is for the ecosystem around the subreddit — the Discord, events, guides, related communities and forms that do not all fit neatly in one sidebar.
For the community-wide version of this idea, see link in bio for communities. For the product page, see Reddit / subreddit moderator tools.
This is not “make your subreddit findable”
Subreddits are already on the public web. Do not use a link-in-bio page as a substitute for Reddit’s own community. Use it when people meet the community from Instagram, YouTube, Discord or an event and need one platform-neutral home for everything around the discussion.
Reddit’s Community Guide remains the right place to welcome members who are already on Reddit. The public page is what you share everywhere else.
What usually lives around a subreddit
- the subreddit itself
- a Discord server
- a community website or wiki / guides
- events and AMAs
- related subreddits
- sponsor or partner resources
- forms for mods, events or partnerships
Those pieces scatter across the sidebar, old posts, Discord pins and social bios. One page can name each one and say what it is for.

What to put on the page
Lead with identity and a Visit subreddit button — not “Join group”, because the destination is the subreddit and joining still happens on Reddit. Then Start Here, useful resources, Discord or other platforms, related communities, upcoming events and FAQs that apply across the whole community.
Many subreddits also run Discord. Keep that as a labelled destination with context, and see Discord server admin tools if the server needs its own public page.
Where to share the URL
Community Guide and useful resources where it fits, subreddit description or sidebar where appropriate, Discord, Instagram, YouTube and event QR codes. One URL, updated in one place when a Discord invite or a meetup date changes.
